Commuting Camping and Hiking Technician

Needed a travel backpack that combined the convenience of a travel backpack with a dedicated laptop compartment. I love it. Organization pockets, expandable main compartment and rain cover for storage are some of my favorite features. I ordered Radial and Tropos to do my own comparison. The comfort of the radial shoulder straps was the biggest difference - in comparison, the Tropos shoulder straps were thinner and didn't itch. The radial shoulder straps were wider and had a smoother texture…

Very happy with every part of the design!

I use it for commuting and even to go shopping with my bike. The bag has a surprisingly large volume and a lot of things fit in it. The back mechanism design facilitates ventilation and I don't sweat as much as I do with my other backpacks with stiffer foam lining. The design, in my opinion, meets the needs of cyclists, elasticated pockets are easily accessible, including one at the very front and two side pockets. The only major downside is that the laptop compartment is slightly curved and my

I love the versatility of this pack. I like that the package is expandable. It was a lifesaver when traveling and I had to pack unexpected souvenirs. The airflow mesh on the back is really good. I don't feel a solid frame around the backpack when I'm wearing it, but I feel like I'm not sweating. Great design. The only small downside is that the bag barely fits under the front seats on the plane. It's too big and sticks out a bit over the row of seats. I haven't heard from flight attendants that

I have 4 of these, best for everyday use, hiking, camping or cycling

I have the first version of this 26 liter tank and now 3 updated versions of 26/32 liters. The only really bad downside to this new version of the laptop bag. It's curved and puts a lot of stress on the laptop and I can see it damaging the screen. Instead, place your laptop in the front area. This backup is a scaled down version of my 85L Osprey Anti-Gravity Backpack. Some of them did tons of 6 hour day hikes with about 8 bottles of water, snacks and other camping gear. The backpack just sits…

Features not well implemented in this version

I bought this pack to replace my previous Radial 34. This is the third version of Radial I own (2 of 34 and 35). I mainly use it for travel, office trips and short overnight trips. I love the features of the bike version as it also allows me to visit the grocery store on my bike. There were several reasons I attempted to make modifications to this model which are listed below. In the month that I have owned this bag I have made 3 trips including one international. I made my decision last night;
