Great so far! Best in Kitchen and Dining

So far, so good. Not as loud as my previous Easter, but more powerful. I like that the blades automatically switch directions several times while blending; it helps to mix cocktails.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

It flows everywhere

No matter what we do and no matter how we collect it, it flows over our counter. We tighten the bottom of the blender to the point where we can't take it off (which in itself is a disappointment) and it's still a mess at the back of the blender base and countertop. It's not a good blender and it's not worth the price.

Pros
  • There is something in this
Cons
  • The list will be long.

It will NOT leak if you follow the instructions.

DOES NOT LEAK if you follow the instructions. The black o-ring fits over the black plastic base and is used with the pitcher. The gray gasket is matched to the gray plastic base and is used with cups. The seal is installed on the TOP of the blade disc, not underneath. The gray seal has ribs that press into the base and hold the blade in place when you turn the mug upside down. Works perfectly. Great design.

Pros
  • is clear even the old
Cons
  • repair

What we were looking for

We were looking at sooo many different mixers and came across this one. It's great for what we need, we make smoothies for breakfast every morning. The travel mugs are great and big! They come with secure wide spout lids. I know you can use them instead of a big blender to blend things, but I haven't tried it yet. The mixer can be a bit noisy early in the morning, luckily we don't share walls with our neighbors. Rinse immediately with water during cleaning so that the products on the blades do…

The reverse direction of the blade is important!

I have had a 12-course Easter for many years. I drink smoothies in the morning and mostly use a handful of spinach, almond milk and frozen blueberries. The greens kept coming out in small clumps and were not smooth. When cleaning, I found greens wrapped around the blades so it couldn't cut. The problem is that the old machine doesn't have a REVERSE button to remove the green during blending. This new machine does this as part of a programmed cycle. I tried looking specifically for a mixer with…

Just as good as the Ninja Duo Mixer

The Oster Mixer is great and looks great on my counter. I've had it for about 3 weeks and after using it a lot I can say it's a lot. Blends perfectly. I also have a Ninja Duo Blender 1400 and I think it's a little better. Not only is the price cheaper, but you also get two cups. Oster has fewer settings than Ninja, but it gets the job done. Ninja has a very small filter that needs cleaning every time you use it (next to the base). It is difficult to get there and clean, but there is no such…

Works great with blender

I was a bit reluctant to try this as some reviews said it leaked or didn't mix well. One drop, it was used almost daily by 2 different people for a couple of weeks. No spills. It's possible that other reviewers who reported leaks didn't build properly or received a defective unit. - The blender blades rotate in both directions alternately (when using the programs) and it blends what you put in really well, even with low liquid content. - To-go containers are "US size" (huge) and also very tall,

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Finally a decent blender at a decent price

My last Easter finally breathed its last after about 8 years. I've looked at so many blenders! I needed one with a small detachable part in the middle so I could slowly add something without removing the whole lid. Funny how little they make now. I needed a pitcher that didn't taper down as much (or at all) towards the bottom (like my old Oster). I wanted a jug made out of glass that wasn't as heavy, but still made out of durable (but BPA-free) plastic that wouldn't scratch or smear, and also…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • A little fixability
