🍨 Oster Ice Cream Maker with Frozen Yogurt and Sorbet Review

I bought this ice cream maker about a year ago. This was my first time buying an ice cream maker so I was very excited. Unfortunately, over the last year I have tried many different recipes, from simple to complex, and have never been satisfied with the result. It turns out less ice than a cold liquid. Even though I quickly freeze "ice cream" afterwards, I always end up with clumpy, gritty foods full of ice crystals. I guess that's what I get if I go for the cheapest option.

Got it as a gift for Christmas and been looking for it for a long time. I used it for my first run today and it worked great! I didn't get my ice maker from Revain but I want to give my (hopefully helpful) opinion on it. I'm not sure about the others to be honest, but I followed the directions to freeze the container for 24 hours. I poured the chocolate cream into a frozen container and turned on the machine. After about 20 minutes I had self-service ice cream consistency from the machine. This is expected. My kids prefer it that way and most of the ice was gone in minutes.
