Lovely Hoof Pick

I prefer pink, lemon green or bright yellow to stand out when tossing in the ubiquitous hay. This blue color disappears when I lower it.

Great for goats

We use this when trimming our goats' hooves. Works great and makes trimming the hooves of 45 breeding heads much easier. Wouls is recommended for use on goats or sheep. I can't help you know if this will work on larger animals as I don't have any.

It took forever to choose my horse's hooves. I thought it was about to break

I used it for the first time yesterday. It took me forever to pick up my horse's hooves. Sure we have sticky clay, but the other two cheap picks I had before worked great. All along I thought the metal part was going to fail. It survived the first use with a slight kink at the end, but I don't expect it to last much longer. Found a replacement on Amazon today. Wouldn't recommend this at all.

Suitable for collecting horse and goat hooves.

Very good for cleaning my goats' hooves. It really doesn't feel heavy enough to tug on a horse's legs. The handle is comfortable and very comfortable in the hand, which I like very much. I can get along well with that too. I find myself plucking their hooves with claw clippers more often than with a hoof hook simply because I already have one in my hand and handy. I have two of these. The one that stays in the goat's tool box and the one that stays in the horse's tool box. It works equally well
