Probably best for large items

Bought this cute little yellow submarine for my tea. I used loose Teavana (Samurai Chai and My Morning Mate, in case that matters) and as it swirled, the adorable little thing seeped all over my cup. I suppose I can always try bigger leaves and such and see if that works. On the other hand, it is very easy to care for due to its flexibility.

it's a waste of money

DO NOT BUY! It's a waste of money! First, it's not for all tea leaves. Second, I found it difficult to load like the picture. Thirdly, the technique from which it is made is very cheap! That's a waste of money. Save yourself the hassle and buy yourself a metal mesh teapot! you have been warned I want my money back. Funny how it probably costs more to send this thing back than it's worth. waste of time and money.

Great teapot and cute!

My yellow underwater teacup is great. It releases tea a little slower than the average brewer, but that's to be expected with fewer holes than the average brewer. It has holes on both sides, front and bottom. It holds about the same amount of loose tea as a regular tea maker, no less and no more. I expected it to be small, but it really is the perfect size. Love the look too, I tell my co-workers it's time to fuel up my yellow sub and sing the song. I'm very happy about that lol. So this yellow
