I've always been amazed by the protection the OtterBox line offers when using Defender and Commuter style cases. I wanted to protect this iPad from accidental damage and this case was one of the few cases that wasn't just a fancy leather wallet that offered little to no real protection. Yes No Plastic protective film included. The one I had before had a plastic sheet and it helped a lot in keeping the screen clean. Pretty messy, but works almost as well. Although I constantly wipe the screen now, it's amazing how dirty it can get without that plastic sheet.

I missed my return window but I hate it. The cover is not screwed and is very difficult to remove. The little iPad support thing is a joke. You can get up to watch a movie. That's a terrible design. I used it but bought it new from Amazon and now I know why people return it.

I love Otterbox and this is the only case I buy for all my devices. My kids keep dropping their iPad and I know my device is safe with this case. Of course I don't want them to drop their devices, but their kids and accidents happen. There's still a chance the screen will break if your device falls on the tiled surface in the corner.
