The best lightweight gloves I've ever had!

This is my second pair of these gloves. Lost my second pair last winter. The touch-sensitive fingers and thumbs in this new version are a big plus. These gloves are many times warmer than gloves of a similar weight that do not have a fleece-lined windproof membrane. I've had a pair of fleece windproof gloves since the mid 1990's. The first pair was from a different manufacturer and they were excellent too. When they wear out, I replace them with this Outdoor Research glove a few years ago…

Advice only. matches outerwear

During a three-hour bike ride in 35 F (2 C), only my fingertips got cold. Excellent gloves. The wind does not blow and the outside is soft.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great gloves for 20-30 degree Fahrenheit weather.

The best gloves I've ever had for 20-30 degree weather. The windshield works great. I could use my cell phone with them. The only downside is that you don't have much skill with them.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Low maintenance

They are warm and seem to last.

Good gloves. They stayed with me for a week and subjected them to hard labor. They seem to be holding up. As for that, so far so great. Not the most comfortable gloves - the seams in the fingers impede dexterity a bit. They are very warm for light gloves. I'll probably use them with a thin liner so they'll be useful in even colder conditions.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Contact seller

Awkward - returned

I bought these to replace after losing one of two Outdoor Research gloves I really liked, hoping they were the same. It's not like this. The palm surface is very hard and I could tell right away that I hate it forever. They are back. It is worth noting that the seller charged me a commission for the return, which was about 10% of the cost. A plus for the gloves are the loops which you can see in their photos which are really handy (pun intended) for easy donning of gloves. . This was a trait I…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Despite the 40F rating the gloves are very cold compared to the original. After checking with an Outdoor Research manufacturer in Seattle, it is an imitation or copy of the product, Outdoor Research does not manufacture this colored glove worldwide, the product is not properly labeled and "Outdoor Research" is not mentioned on any of the labels on the glove . Real authentic glove next to imitation. This is an "OR" product, not an outdoor study. Revain also sells gloves in cobalt blue, which is…

Improved version with conductive fingertips

I had a set of these that I lost which I'm glad about as they have conductive touchscreen tips on the thumb and forefinger! Like the originals, they offer excellent wind protection and are therefore much warmer than comparable gloves without a wind protection (but they are not insulated for very cold conditions). Ribbon loops on the wrist make dressing much easier. The only downside is that they are NOT waterproof and will therefore absorb water if you wear them in the rain.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Not sure

Fantastic winter gloves

I use these for winter bike rides in New York. Works perfectly. In fact I lost my first pair and bought the same ones. The fingertips work on capacitive touchscreens, but their size makes it difficult to press precisely. I end up using the seams or the sides of my fingers. A very small caveat to a great pair of gloves.

Pros
  • Easy to fit
Cons
  • Negative gift

Great warm gloves but lightweight

Super warm gloves for their thickness - they are quite thin and offer good dexterity. They fit snugly and the fingers aren't too long. Your hands will sweat in them when you exert yourself as they are not breathing, which is to be expected. Overall these are very versatile gloves and can be worn in temperatures of 30 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit depending on how cold you get and how much exercise you have.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Can hurt
