Actually it was a good quality product but they didn't have a good explanation of the sizes. I bought the X-Small/Small for my 4 year old and it's too small. I think it's good for 2-3 years.

Thicker than I expected but still very pretty. Excellent quality. Bought for my 7 year old but it was a bit tight for him. Good fit for my 4 year old so I kept it anyway. Perfect for playing in the snow on a cold MN winter day.

outdoor research makes good products. They fit as expected and are quite warm. The material is flexible and gentle, allowing it to retain heat while still conforming to the head. Frost over the mouth is not formed, and this at a temperature of 0-5 °. I would recommend it.

Really warm and comfortable fleece but not suitable for my 8 year old. Its head is medium sized and not too small. it's too tight in places, making it unflattering. I wouldn't buy it again but it does what it's supposed to do in skiing/winter weather and my son loves it so much we're keeping it.

Great product. Warms my son's face while allowing him to play ninja. The material is smooth, so it is comfortable to wear and has good stretch. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it sometimes draws my son's attention. It's just a little big for him, that's the problem. If he's a bit older, that won't be a problem.

This balaclava is easy to slip on and will keep our son's head nice and warm during the bitterly cold Colorado winter.
