Outdoor Research Womens Crocodile Gaiters Review

The world's best leggings, but women's sizes are a few inches shorter than men's sizes. My wife thought the women's size was too short so we sent it back and exchanged for the men's size.

A couple of full day snowshoe hikes, it was great. They make my boots fully waterproof (at least for my purposes, I do moderate backcountry skiing) to the point where I can wear waterproof fleece yoga/workout pants instead of bulky winter pants when hiking. Definitely happy I bought them.

I love these things. Easy to put on and take off. Saved my pants from all sorts of tears and moisture from field conditions - thorns, sticks, dew on grass, etc. I can't (fortunately) comment on how they perform against snakes, but I feel more confident in them when working in the field . . Not hot and uncomfortable even in summer conditions.

So the first thing to do was the top layer of fabric over the velcro tab on the bottom, it just peeled off. Then I got a wound in the side of one. One of the top latches opens randomly. Probably good for hiking in snow but not in swamps/dense bushes. Will probably get another pair to Renier and try to find something sturdier, maybe a hunting clothing brand makes some super hardcore leggings.
