Used as layering on my son's first hike. Did the job. Didn't have to convert to shorts so not sure how it looks. Versatile and practical coffee pot.

The waist is huge on them! They come with a belt but they should save money and throw it away. It does not help. This is a thin and cheap belt. It would be better if they put elastic bands inside that you can adjust with. At the same time, the waist is incredibly wide.

These are a great pant with the ability to rip off the bottom half of the pant to make shorts. However, they run small as the waist does not stretch. I ordered 12 for my 9 year old as he wears 12-14. He couldn't close them because they were too small. I had to appreciate it.

I bought these for my 10 year old who is smaller and size 8 fits perfectly. They may not fit him in 6 months but are perfect for camping/hiking this summer, especially for the price. The waist is not adjustable so I think the size chart only lists the waist size. My child is 22" waist, 54" tall, 65 lbs if that helps with sizing.

My child is smaller but 5 ton pants usually fit him. They were loose at the waist and a few inches longer. We will let them grow but I am disappointed that the sizing was so wrong. The model in shorts looks more like a capri, and the belt is clearly large enough for adults. Material and workmanship are very good. 😊👍

I bought these trousers for my son because they are much cheaper than the official BSA trousers but the same color. He wore them exploring and they fit well after we elasticated them into our pants. I loved the belt and it appeared to be of good quality and was easy to fasten, however after we slipped it through the loops one end came loose from the clasp. Luckily he had a BSA belt. I bought size 16/18 for my 13 year old son to use as scout pants. On the good side: material and quality seem good. The pants feel well tailored and seem to get softer and more comfortable with use and washing. The bad: They just didn't fit - or at best they would fit him for about a month and then fall short. So my 13 year old is about 5ft 5in but I figured 16/18 would be enough. They are just about the point in length that I would start buying new pants for him. You will work. immediately…
