Used to extend our internet to the work building, about 200 feet of good quality (solid copper) cable looks good; removes the coil nice and straight. Although I had an underground tube, I chose an underground cable because of the price and the stiffer outer jacket, less possible damage when laying indoors and outdoors, especially in the work area.

A well made cable, this cable will take some time to be stripped and ready for the installation of the connectors. Make sure you get Category 5/6 connectors for 23 gauge wire, take your time stripping and hide from this wire or you will cut one of the wires. I will buy it again if needed.

The cable is as advertised. Category 6 cable. No real problems with the product. Delivery was another problem. Someone once thought it would be a good idea to toss a 17lb spool in a thin box and cover it with a piece of paper. The packaging arrived torn on 3 sides, the wooden spool was broken, the plastic spindle inside was broken. This doesn't stop the cord from working, but it does make it harder to wind with the reels I usually use to hold my spools. Revain should give us a "Shipping Fee"…

My cable arrived in a well packed box completely intact - the spool is undamaged. I was concerned because others were having problems. I ran the spare cord outside and wanted to make sure it would stand up to the weather. This cable meets the requirements and has so far proven to be reliable. I bought a CAT6 underground cable. It's very well done. It's very easy to interrupt. I really liked that each foot of the cable is marked with its length. That way, if you can subtract, you don't have to measure to cut the length or determine the length of your cable. The reel was delivered to my home exactly as promised. Well satisfied. Would buy a TRU cable again.

This is a high performance cable, you need large diameter RJ45 connectors (cheap) or tool-less RJ45 connectors (expensive). I've used it for Direct Burial and POE applications and it works great. I share some concerns that the cable is water and UV resistant but not waterproof? There is no gel inside the cable and a thin cellophane wrap with fabric underneath, but I don't want to just pay double for a gel filled cable.

Worked great to replace my aging Cat5 that was driven into my workshop over 200 feet in PVC. I ran two lines so I had a backup and it has never worked better. I'm sure it will last a lot longer if buried directly and lined with PVC. As far as I can tell, it's real copper, not copper-coated aluminum. It's pretty tough so plan accordingly when working with PVC.
