I've made countless cocktails with this shaker since I got it in January 2012 over 4 years ago and I haven't had a leak. I always hand washed the lid because it was fairly light after each use and that may have helped it still work well. Guests are always impressed when I serve perfectly shaken platters of martini in their glasses and I love having this shaker on hand.

Gifted to my partner for her 21st birthday and she loves it. This is a very high quality item and can easily be used at parties or other events without feeling too cheap or flimsy. The recipes on it are really good, but I don't like the fact that it looks like a sticker on the outside and can go bad in the dishwasher.

Had high hopes - everything is fine but the glass is a bit thinner than you think. My old shaker broke, bought this one. The old shaker was about 3/8 inch thick glass. slightly cracked after 25 years. This glass is thinner. The shaker can also leak when shaken. not always, but you must be very sure that this is the case. . I love the recipes on the site and the measuring rulers. I would buy it again so don't get me wrong and don't think it's that bad but I wanted to quote these things so people
