So I was curious to see how it would work with cold produce so why not take some ice in a bag to see if the cooling section works sufficiently to keep it cold . Surprisingly this kept the ice cream cold for a good 20 minutes so I was already impressed with that. The 2 cooling pads that are included have gel balls so you just need to pour some water in them which I also found interesting. Packed ice packs with zip and it kept our stuff cold as we walked around Disney all day. As the ice melted, we refilled our bottles with cold water. Went like clockwork! The backpacks are durable and hold up well when we use them as hand luggage on our flights and carry as much in them while we hang out at Disney for a few days. We now use pool backpacks to keep our snacks cold and plan to use them at the beach and on camping trips. Very glad we made this purchase

I ordered 2, one for my wife and one for me. I mainly use it for drinks at work. Made from high quality material. I have no problem with anything in this bag. Best of all, it does exactly what it was designed to do, which is to keep our drinks cold all day. Along with 2 plastic ice packs we use an extra large ice pack at the bottom, put drinks on top and slide 2 thinner packs on each side and it works great. Plenty of space for sandwiches or snacks. After writing the review below, the company realized that this bag did not meet my needs and they kindly offered me a refund. I have never had customer service that willingly contacted me and offered a full refund. Amazing customer service makes a world of difference! Thanks very much! Works great but doesn't fit much. I can get a lunch box, 1 book, a binder and a notepad. The front pocket holds a lot of pens and such, just not as deep as I need.
