Very fragile, unsafe. MY IRONING BOARD FALLED DOWN because the brackets were slowly separating. I'm glad I didn't put my iron on it, it might hurt someone. I put the ironing board on it, my arms slowly starting to move apart. Not enough space to put my iron on it to clear the door. Do not buy

The ironing board holder above the door is not stable. This is not real iron steel. I don't know what it is, but it's chrome plated. The paint was peeling off even before I assembled it. When I assembled it I saw that it wasn't very durable. It barely fits on an ironing board, let alone an aerosol can and other ironing accessories.

This product broke in less than a week. The hook above the door (the part that touches the door) was very strong, but the actual tubes that assemble and insert into the hook to hold the ironing board are very fragile. The weight of the ironing board pushes the hooks outward, causing them to flex slightly each time you lower and raise the board. It's like bending a paper clip back and forth several times - after 5 times it just pops.

I would give this product 0 stars if I could. It's useless if you have a Y-iron, trust me. I will upload photos or videos later to show exactly that. When properly installed, it will not hold Y-shaped ironing boards as the hooks will expand as long as weight is on them. They hold onto the board's legs for a split second, and once it slides low enough, it takes a few seconds for it to collapse. I actually don't think it's safe at all.
