I have a 2012 13" Macbook Pro. I did some research and he said 16GB RAM would be fine and even mentioned that brand. 1 Inserted cards (correct 16GB from OWC) in slots 1 and 2 after removing 8GB Crucial.2 When Mac boots, emits a soft beep, followed contacted (chat) by a loud buzzing or farting sound .3 OWC support, they told me to clean the contacts with eraser and alcohol and reset the PRAM. I upgraded this late 2011 8.1 13" MacBook Pro i5 2.4GHz with an SSD last year and noticed a huge improvement.
