We use this for a large pit and a terrier plus two cats. After some training on how to use it, animals now walk right through it and it has held up well to the roughness of walking through. The magnets close it well so you don't have to worry about excess air and bugs.

This is by far the highest quality dog door I have seen. And cheaper than the plastic dog doors you buy at the store. The pattern was accurate to install. It gives you all the sizes on the template so you need to know what size you bought. It's easy to teach a dog to walk through a small see-through window, I was able to show him a treat and he quickly got the hang of it. Seams are energy efficient. Works fine.

I really like the metal frame of this door so I bought it. But the plastic door leaf is complete junk. After 3 months it started tearing and now 4 months after I stopped using it it broke completely. I contacted the company that makes it and they told me you can't just buy the valve like the others. I was told I would have to buy a brand new door to get the flap. I spoke to the owner who was completely unhelpful and his solution to the problem told me to call Revain and tell them it was broken.

Bought this door as part of a two door system. This is on the inside of my kitchen wall and leads to a small vestibule (windbreak) and a second pet door. This door is very well made and has strong magnets on the bottom and sides of the one year caliber plastic flap. One interesting thing is that the valve is opaque but has a clear window at the top so the pet can see where it's going.
