So it works as it should, but closing my center console lid with this one installed isn't that easy, I actually have to slam the lids quite hard to make them snap into place. Otherwise there are no problems, it seems durable.

Cup holder fits my 2007 Ram 1500 perfectly. However, I wish there were instructions on how to latch the console lid. The coasters are very easy to assemble. Love the fact that your cups are close to the driver, I don't have to reach for the floor anymore.

The item itself is excellent, I secured it with two screws in the plastic of the built in armrest. My problem is that the top cover has to be slammed too hard for it to snap into place. I'm not sure if it's the thickness of the plastic or if the locking hole is too small. I'll check with a big pen and if it's a drop hole I'll widen it. Even with the armrest that is difficult to close, it's still a great product.

Although the plastic looks a little cheap, I'm glad I stumbled across it. Dodge should have just ditched the center seat and floor organization/console found on 3rd generation cars. Without washers on the bottom of the latch on top of the armrest, you will not be able to close and reopen the console. Other providers supply the prescribed washers for installation, but not in this special case. Luckily I had matching washer nuts and was able to attach them in 20-30 minutes. I recommend adding an armrest cover (also pictured) with this purchase. The plastic clips under the armrest will most likely break off if you remove the padding while adding shims to the locking mechanism

Although it actually works with 6 gears, their tolerance is small. I have Cummins g56 2007.5 6.7 6st. The shifter hits the cup holder in reverse and 6th gear. It shifts into those gears with ease, and once you've engaged it, it backs up 1/4" to clear the cup holder, just because of the play in the gearing. But if you move, you make contact with it.
