Not a fan. Despite the large handle, this is .

No fan. Despite the large handle, we find it difficult to handle. Bought to peel orange peel for old stuff and just to get a thin channel of peel when peeling. And it doesn't seem to penetrate the orange enough, so the channel keeps breaking when I peel the skin off.

Pros
  • Dream come true
Cons
  • Socket required

zesty-zest the best

I make a living as a bartender and have used several different sewer zesters. This one is definitely my favourite. Some of my co-workers don't like it because it's a bit harder to gauge depth of cut for lemon/lime curls, but it's consistent and will stay sharp for years if you care for it properly.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I am concerned

Much more economical

We went to a cooking class where we were told never to use a micro grater (like we all do) and to use this attachment instead because it's a lot less wasteful and you won't fetch Put a bitter white stone in your raisin. Well we bought this one and I have to say I agree! I get three times the pleasure for a lot less effort and time. sooo great

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Some difficulty

Peel and peel as needed.

I bought this to make a Sazerac drink that needed some orange zest to make it palatable. It worked for that and when you need fancy cake and the like. It has a comfortable handle that fits my hand well. I made it a point to clean it up right away so the metal still looks and works great. It's easy to use, but hold the fruit firmly to keep the tool from slipping.

Pros
  • Always liked it
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Much better than my Microplane!

I used my Microplane to peel lemons for recipes, but I kept cutting my fingers. I can get a lot more swing in a fraction of the time using this zester. It feels good in the hand and the metal looks quite high-quality. When I use this zester I take off just the right amount of meat and I don't take off too much. It leaves bitterness under the skin of the fruit, which is normal because I cut open and squeeze the lemons after peeling. This is a great little tool!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Microplane is better

I got this because I've tried a lot of citrus and it seemed like the right tool to me. After all, the word Zest is in the title. It works, and it works well, but I soon found that the microplane was much better at handling the skin than the zester. I never used this thing again after I switched to Microplan. However, if you value your shell shape being long and fibrous, or you use a channel knife to make a long, spiral shell, this is the tool to use. for work.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's ok

Essential kitchen tool

Just an amazing tool in your kitchen: small and versatile. Round circles at the tool's tip easily peel tiny citrus peels, but the big (as the world calls it) thing? in the center of the shell of larger pieces of shell for garnishing, garnishing, etc. The OXO handle makes this tool more comfortable to use, especially if you suffer from arthritis. It's so easy and quick to use and I wouldn't be standing in my kitchen without it. In fact, this purchase is actually a gift to someone who admired…

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Wow! Makes you happy and fun!

Love this little twist! I love making limoncello with fresh lemons from my garden. Now I love this limoncello, but I was afraid of peeling all the required lemons (sometimes up to 20, which I like to do) because it would take forever! And my arm started hurting before I even finished. I would have to measure the raisin within a few hours. Today I used OXO Good Grips Lemon Zester for the first time. Are you kidding me?! It did not last long. In fact, I picked a few more lemons to add to the…

It's not a functional knife with ridges, after all

If you're looking for a utility knife for slicing watermelon or other fruit, stop and look elsewhere. The ergonomic and thick handle, comfortable to hold, creates a large angle between the cutting part of the channel knife and the surface you want to carve, so you can't really dig into the surface you want to carve. Imagine holding a pen or pencil almost parallel to the writing surface; This is the experience of using it. If you try to move it up (remember it's perpendicular) the cut angle…
