I have two bathrooms and have used this plunger in both. It's a hard rubber, not flexible, and only worked with one of my toilets, an older one. On my newer toilet with extended flush. Good piston. The stand is great so you don't have to put dirty, wet, disgusting dirt full of bacteria on the floor.
