Clean flask and bath canister. The plunger itself has a solid white handle with a black rubber teat forming the "head". The canister is white and hides a black rubber head in two side valves, part of which is raised and closed when the piston is placed on a small platform on which it rests in the canister when not in use. I will update this OXO Good Grips flask regularly. I have an old house with a toilet that needs to be flushed daily. Therefore, its durability and effectiveness is constantly evaluated. So far, after a few weeks of daily use, I can highly recommend OXO Good Grips. Update - I've been using the plunger at least twice a day for a little over a month (I know - UK!). The piston and handle do their job. This flask is well built. So BUY. The canister is the weak link in this bathroom essential. It's made of plastic. While it hides the black plunger head when not in use. But it's plastic. I was careful (careful) to put the plunger in the canister. Let's see. There is one more aspect of the canister that should be considered, at least for me. The piston head is clearly wet after use. The canister has a hole for evaporating eau de toilette. I'm sure this hole is enough for most users to deal with moisture, but in my case there wasn't enough time between uses to allow nature to do her job. The piston head is well made. The canister works fine. I still highly recommend the OXO Good Grips flask and canister. I wish I could say the same about the current toilet. UPDATE 02/21/2020 We are now diving into 2020. 8 months after purchase. Great flask. I would still highly recommend this flask.
