High-Performance Pack 13 Watt Double Tube: Efficient Lighting Solution Review

The previous lamps (all 4) in our bedroom lasted at least the 3+ years we lived in this house. They started to fail so I replaced them all with these four months ago. Now one has died. I wanted to replace them all with LEDs but it's too difficult to remove or bypass the ballasts. Still, I wish I had!

My lightbulb burned out after a few years and these bulbs proved to be a suitable alternative when searching. I ordered them because the measurements were correct and the photo on the website matched the base of our blown lightbulb. I received them in the mail very quickly and they fit perfectly in the socket and the light is good.

I've never seen this bulb (the dome closet light that came with the house) and certainly not on hand. I compared to local and big stores and won this award. I've lived with the previous lamp for at least 6 years so in terms of durability it will probably be quite a while before I'm sure, so far so good!

Our condo has mounts for these weird CFLs in the common areas so they were ordered to replace some of them that were out of service. If our club has sufficient funds, plans are in place to replace the fixtures with ones that use LED bulbs that can be screwed in, replacing the 4-prong snap-in style bulbs and requiring ballasts in each fixture are. LEDs are more efficient and last longer.

Matches our lamp perfectly. Existing lightbulbs were nearing the end of their lives - it would take a minute or two to go from dim to full brightness. I ordered these lamps which arrived ahead of the scheduled delivery date, fitted them in less than a minute and voila, instant bright light at the touch of a button. I ordered four packs so I'll have a replacement set in about a year. Great price, very satisfied!

These LED bulbs were purchased to replace the CFLs in my church lights. About half of CFL bulbs failed due to end of life or bad ballasts. Once we figured out how to get to and bypass the ballasts, LED lights were easy to install and worked really well. We've had them installed for over a year now and none of them have failed. Hopefully we won't have to replace them for a few years.

I have bought many CFL bulbs in my life. They have a color rendering index of 82, which is not very high, but I think they can be even lower than other lamps I've bought. The light they give off is aquamarine, like the worst subway corridor lighting you've ever seen in a 70's industrial-era Soviet film. Don't use them where there are people or food you want to enjoy.

They will not fit as the base tab is centered on them. My Panasonic vent/bath light uses an 18w or higher version with offset grommets. I installed these cheap CFLs by removing the tabs with my dremel. Would have given these higher ratings if these cheap CFLs weren't already flickering after less than two weeks of use. As cheap as they are, I'd rather pay more for Sylvania Bulbs next time, at least I can get more life out of them.

I finally found a lightbulb to hold on to. I've tried branded CFLs (GE, Phillips) and even LED bulbs. There aren't many options for a 4-pin configuration. My favorite color is 2700K warm white. This is the cheapest lamp I can find in this color. Even the most expensive lightbulb, which costs 3-4 times as much, does not even last half the advertised lifespan.
