Hard to find locally

There is no electronics store in our area. Local hardware stores and departments don't have them. As a precaution, I bought 10 pieces, since 8 more of the same light bulbs have to be replaced in the light grid. Easy installation and good length of well insulated connection cable.

Better quality than OEM sockets.

I bought 10 packs of these miniature ceramic sockets to replace some 12v lights where the old ceramic sockets couldn't hold the pins of 50w bulbs firmly. The work went smoothly, but only time will tell if the cartridges will continue to squeeze the contacts after a few lamp changes. At the moment I give them 4 stars. They appear to be of higher quality than the OEM plugs.

Well made, durable

Well made and durable two pin ceramic socket. I have surgical lights. Which use halogen lamps. They get very hot when used for several hours a day. Bi-pin connectors will burn out over time and will need to be replaced. Bought other outlets. They weren't very well made and quickly fail and the wires burn out. These sockets are very well made. The wires to the outlet are heat resistant and will not fade. The two prong sockets are the best I've ever bought. They are heavy and durable. If you're…
