We live on our boat in the summer and use it as a freezer so I can separate and organize items, also used in the closet to organize

I measured my space first to make sure it would fit. It does. I didn't fold it worked better for what I needed separately in the closet in the hallway. And when I folded it up, I couldn't get up. Love it.

I use them to separate and circulate my electronic consoles connected to my TV. They fit perfectly in an off-site TV stand. They wobble a bit when folded, but I can stretch and rotate the console and it won't fall or break.

If you're looking to save space in your pantry by placing jars or groceries on these shelves then skip it. They have an inexplicable rise in height at the outer edge. I don't know what it is for. But what I mean is anything over 2 inches won't sit flat or straight. My glasses are leaning against the wall. I think it will work as long as I have the "edge of the wall" but on the other side I will most likely fight with items. Since the legs are sticking out, you can't go all the way to the edge…
