    Place it where you need it!

    Excellent for checking the accuracy of fridges and freezers. I have an old fridge and when I checked it I was able to lower the temp a bit and was very pleased when I did! It's great to see if the temperature in your deli drawer is right.

    Inaccurate for thermometer and timer

    After installation in our new store, the temperature in the freezer was too high. I turned off the freezer thermostat, the temperature did not change. After calling the repair service, it turned out that the freezer is working fine, but these thermometers are not entirely accurate. Took $120 to find out they were incorrect.

    extremely inaccurate for thermometers and timers

    as some other reviewers said they were +/- 12 degrees compared to a k-type thermocouple multimeter. You read that right +/- 12 degrees! The digital gauge shows 36 degrees, 2 of them showed 42, one showed 49, the other 3 showed closer to 25 degrees. Lightweight metal clips are easily bent by hand, allowing you to stand them upright to view the front. Buy a decent digital thermometer and save yourself the hassle. Thanks very much!

    Reasonable quality, great price

    These are small and very inexpensive thermometers. I first put all six units in the freezer together and they gave the same results. I then compared their readings to a much more expensive device and they read 2 degrees higher, which is close enough for my purposes. We often have power outages and I need to know how warm my freezers and fridges are and that's what these units are for. 4 stars only because they are small and relatively difficult to read unless removed from the device.

    Each of the 6 shows a different temperature!

    Incredibly inaccurate. The product listings are accurate to within 2 degrees, which is what I would expect from a thermometer in this price range. I got six in a pack and put 3 in the fridge and 3 in the freezer. The three in the freezer were 10 degrees apart - from minus 8 to plus 2. The three in the fridge were 6 degrees different, but two of the bottom ones were 32 degrees, and I know mine isn't that cold, probably closer to 38 or 40. It's useless. Without it, I can judge the temperature…
