Perfect as described

They were perfect for adding a few extras to my trailer. Lots of power with 10 gauge wire, ready to install. Excellent delivery.

Good quality protection

I use these as battery backup for my ham radios. Crimp a 45A Anderson plug into your battery terminal and sleep soundly at night. I have worked with electronics all my life and as a general rule I will not connect a high current battery without a fuse. They do their job.

Thick and good quality for high current

very good quality fuse holder. The wire is thick and tinned so I can use it for hooking up to the boat (rigging and as a trolling motor) although I prefer self-resetting fuses so it would be nice if they designed larger caps for them. Silicone caps would be way better than harder rubber and could be the next improvement for them.

The fuse holder shows the resistance/heat value.

I used 20-25A in a backup application with the included 40A fuse. There is significant resistance in the battery holder, which after a few minutes causes the holder to become too hot to touch. I have to see if only one of them has problems. The ends have double crimped spades for the F2 battery connector which I use in another 25A application with no noticeable heat. Edit: I measured a drop of about 100mV at 20A with a 40A Bussmann fuse. I tried two different fuse holders to make sure it wasn't

High quality fuse holder with 10AWG wire

Looks like great quality. 10 AWG wires with 105Β°C insulation. The fuse cover forms a watertight seal. The cap is attached to the body with a loop so as not to lose it. Easily accepts a fuse but holds it in place for a secure electrical connection. The photo provided by the seller accurately represents the product. My only criticism is that the fuses supplied are 40 amps, but I need 30 amp fuses for my application. Yes, the cable supports 40, but I'm going to connect it to a 12AWG cable, which…
