Easy to refill and convenient to use, you need to flip the tank lever to start the gas, then light the flint, flip down the tank lever to turn it off. Easy to use, but be careful not to drop it while in use as it will likely stay on and you'll have to try and pick up the active flashlight. But if you don't have oily fingers, then that's great. I have a feeling a push button like regular fuel start lighters would be safer, but hey, that's how they did it.

I really like the lock opening feature. I use a variety of sealed lanterns and camp stoves that often need to be re-lit. Being able to leave it on for a minute or two is a big help. I also like the fact that it's a flint but a lighter. I just haven't had any luck with quartz/piezo lighters. Also, they are a bit more expensive. For those having trouble not igniting them, fill them properly as any butane lighter requires you to "burp" the air out of the system.

Nice lighter but the new one wears out quicker than expected. My husband and I both smoke cigars, which we constantly have to light. We were really looking forward to these lighters because they don't have the faulty clicker that all other lighters have. At first they were immaculate that we got. They started acting finicky for a month in April, stopped working by June. Still happy with the purchase as they lasted longer than the blue lighters but for the money I expected a longer lifespan.

It took me some time to find these lighters. I've owned these lighters for about half a year and they deserve a review.
