Magnetic 🧲 Aluminum Rubber Metal Pair Review

I am embarrassed to give this review but this is a poorly designed tool. The rubber grommets came loose when I first clamped my project. I cannot recommend this product.

Poor quality - the rubber goes too hard on the aluminum and presses the vise on the object. After a few months, the rubber started to separate from the aluminum. Find a better product and don't buy this one.

The vise jaws look nice and "sort of" work. The magnets that are supposed to hold the jaw in the vise are in exactly the same position as the screws that hold the metal jaws of the vise to the body of the vise. Since the magnets are not in close proximity to the jaws due to the recessed nature of the screws, the rubber padded vise jaws slide quite easily. If I had known about this property of the aluminum soft grips, I probably would not have ordered them.
