So thin how are they considered real ski socks?!

Spent the extra money on warm socks for my daughter who loves splashing in puddles in her uninsulated wellies. Really happy with the purchase!

Pros
  • These kids ski/board socks have a very nice pattern and thickness to keep warm.
Cons
  • Some consumers may not know or trust the brand.

A hole in the ground after a ski tour.

These socks are too thin. My daughter wore them to a ski trip and they are already punctured from wear?! We gave them to her for Christmas and it's still early January so less than a month old.

Pros
  • Good quality socks, slightly larger than expected
Cons
  • You may not have enough color options to meet everyone's preferences.

Warm socks ideal for small feet.

My daughter says they are very warm on their own and too thick for cross country skiing but great for toddlers just learning to ski. You are tall.

Pros
  • Good socks, good thickness.
Cons
  • The wool material may cause some children to feel itchy or irritated.

My son loves her. to my rating.

My 10 year old sock lover. In 2020, he made a New Year's resolution not to wear pants (stupid, I know), and during the Pennsylvania winter he wears shorts over tights or shorts with stocking socks. It really suited him. He said they were really comfortable and he walked like a soldier on our recent hike in the low 30s. I could try putting a pair of pants over him, but with socks that warm, why bother? All in all they were great, warm and comfortable.

Pros
  • This is a great way to please your kids with socks.
Cons
  • Some children's feet cannot be adequately padded by socks.

my perfect rating

My daughter loves these socks. Use them for skiing and skating. Comfortable, breathable, warm. My only complaint is that they are out of stock in the same size. Great quality and no issues with regular washing and drying.

Pros
  • I bought them for my daughter to wear outdoors in kindergarten. They are warm and snuggly but a bit tight on the feet.
Cons
  • Socks may not be as durable as other brands on the market.

great sox great; limited to the PINK design, phew!

To be honest I have spent a lot of time looking for good winter boot socks on many different online sites. The small and medium-sized socks were competitive in price, excellent wearing comfort and first-class product quality; & extensive search efforts; random and purchased leftovers; arrived were very very BRIGHT PINK designs; unfortunately. The grandchildren shouted UGH! no-way.will return and repurchase a more accurate design for boys when the socks are restocked.

Pros
  • Used for children's ski socks. Good quality.
Cons
  • The design may not be practical for some ski/snowboard boots.

So thin how are they considered real ski socks?!

They don't seem to heat at all. I have ordered another brand that we have used before which seems to be much better than this one. They are so thin that I can see through them if I put my hand inside and hold them up to the light! How can they be warm? We won't even try them in the snow and risk frostbite. Too bad I just missed the return window by 1 day!

Pros
  • Excellent quality and for!
Cons
  • Socks may not absorb moisture as effectively as other brands.

Great for skiing in my opinion.

My son loves them and they keep his feet relatively warm while skiing. I'm talking in relative terms, because when it's 20 degrees F outside, he pulls on a pair of socks. He likes the mountain pattern on his socks because it makes him feel like a "real skier".

Pros
  • true size. Comfortable
Cons
  • I only received 1 pair not the 2 pairs advertised. I am returning the item.

So thin how are they considered real ski socks?!

These are not Merino wool socks; they "contain some merino wool". Basically it is acrylic and other synthetics and only one third is merino. Therefore, for ordinary thick socks, mostly non-merino wool, they are expensive. The product ad title is misleading.

Pros
  • My two toddlers used them on ski day -17 and had no problems. They held up well to the wash and we used them repeatedly throughout the week.
Cons
  • The size chart may be confusing for some buyers.

Size and fit as expected.

These are not 100% wool socks. I didn't read the description carefully before buying. I sent them back because I was looking for 100% wool socks to keep little feet warm in winter. I did not want.

Pros
  • Comfortable and warm
Cons
  • They may not be very affordable for some potential buyers.

thinner ski socks! what i was looking for

My kid doesn't like thick ski socks, so that's exactly what I was looking for. Still very soft but not bulky at all. Love her. (The other brand, the thick one, has given up completely.)

Pros
  • Keeps my daughter's feet warm and dry while snowboarding and playing in the snow.
Cons
  • The sock material may not be suitable for all weather conditions.

Keep warm and stay put on a 4 year old

These are my child's favorite socks. He is 4 years old, average height. They are warm, fit well in boots and stay up during the day. They kept him warm during a cold New England winter. He really likes the design of the snowflakes and how they keep his boots warm when he's playing snowballs.

Pros
  • Took them on our first ski trip. No complaints!
Cons
  • The color/pattern may not be acceptable for some buyers.

Huge hole in the floor after only 2 uses

First I liked these - sweet, thick and warm. But then, after the second use, one of them developed a huge (3 inch) hole right in the ground. Our returns window closed a week ago so I stuck with them.

Pros
  • Keeps my daughter warm and she loved the cute design.
Cons
  • Socks may not be available in all stores, limiting availability for some customers.

Perfect fit and well made, but thinner than expected.

I ordered them in Snowflake Aqua as they were Sport Pink last year and my daughter loved them. I needed a larger size and she chose a different design. However, they are thinner than Sport Pink. They are very well made and comfortable, thin socks only.

Pros
  • grandchildren loved her
Cons
  • Socks aren't machine washable, making them less practical for busy parents.

Great Value

Love the padding and the extra pillow. I didn't like this after the thread came out on a sock after washing. I think maybe I'm just unlucky. Children also love socks and the feeling on their feet.

Pros
  • Full Terry Padded: Padding on the insole and calves is where it needs to be to prevent chafing in a heavy boot where your child needs it most for extra support. Great find for kids skiing, snowboarding and skating
Cons
  • Big and chunky
