💡 Powerful Panamax MD2 2-Outlet Surge Suppressor: Enhanced Protection with LED Diagnostic Lights Review

Compact and easy to use for 2 connections. I decided to use it as a surge protector for a Panamax power conditioner (used for 4 other electronic devices). It worked very well in my old apartment building. Since the installation of this device there have been 6 surges caused by a nearby residential building.

I can't say much about this product other than I hope it works. I bought this as a surge protector for our water heater in the attic. The technician told me that in order for the heater electronics to work properly, we should always have it as it can be destroyed after a lightning strike.

I bought this air conditioner so my sewing machine wouldn't stop. My sewing machine mechanic said the problem was caused by dirty food. I wrote and asked a question before buying this device if it would help and the answers I got said yes. However, I didn't notice any difference in the device - the machine stopped working every now and then.

The only complaint I have is that the case protrudes a little past the 3 pin connector. I have a switched outlet so I couldn't connect both devices to the MD2. I ended up using it for something else that I didn't care if it was safe or not and will be looking for something else. Also note that the warranty is worthless if you buy from Revain as you only have to buy it direct from certain locations.

RFI suppression. It can be attached to the bottom wall socket so that the top socket can be used. This has effectively increased the available outlets by one, as there are two connection points - one on each side of the Panamax MD2. There are other panamax models with more features, but for my purpose I needed surge protection for my linear stereo power distribution and the EMI/RFI rejection is a bonus.
