I use this lens on my Panasonic G7. It is MUCH better than the kit lens and gives you a 50mm-like field of view. I mainly used the G7 as a backup camera when shooting a wedding video and also as a C-cam to capture this wide angle shot from the back of the room. I found 50mm perfect for this shot. It also helps that it's 1.7mm because the G7 doesn't have the best low-light capabilities, so I needed a way to counter that.

This lens was a must for shooting in low light and for the depth I can get with such a small aperture. It's understandable and extremely useful for the price. This is my new lens for the day. I use a Panasonic Lumix GH-4 that shoots cinematic 4k.
