Excellent value for money

I am very happy with this camcorder. I could have paid twice as much but I don't think I would have gotten double the camera. It exceeded my expectations. The only downsides I can think of are that the colors could be more saturated and the battery life is only around an hour.

Solid value! for camcorder

According to the pros, I sacrificed picture quality for ease of use. For those who don't know any better (and I don't), there is no sacrifice. I am very happy with my purchase as I wasn't willing to spend more than $500 for an HD camcorder. It's extremely easy to use and as a beginner, I or (more importantly) my wife don't need to use the manual mode, instead relying fully on the intelligent automatic mode. My only complaint at the moment is that the mini HDMI port doesn't work. In short I…

Great video camera! c Camcorder

I was going to visit my brother and family in Dubai and wanted to buy a new camcorder. My old one was with Panasonic 8mm but cost me a lot of money and I wouldn't pay that much again. I did a web search thinking of both Samsung and my TV but was nervous about Panasonic and Samsung.
