Review on Panasonic HDC SD20 Flash Camcorder Red by Rick Marie

According to the pros, I sacrificed picture quality for ease of use. For those who don't know any better (and I don't), there is no sacrifice. I am very happy with my purchase as I wasn't willing to spend more than $500 for an HD camcorder. It's extremely easy to use and as a beginner, I or (more importantly) my wife don't need to use the manual mode, instead relying fully on the intelligent automatic mode. My only complaint at the moment is that the mini HDMI port doesn't work. In short I would have to send it back to get a replacement which would not be a quick transaction. I am very happy to receive a replacement and test the functions of Viera Link. I can't comment on the included software as I replaced it with Sony Vegas 9. I only used the software to upload my videos from my SDHC card to my computer. All of my editing is done in Sony Vegas. If this is your first HD camcorder and you are on a tight budget, get one, you will be pleased with the quality, ease of use and amazing size!
