Wouldn't charge. - Accessories and consumables

installed. In a Panasonic cordless phone. Tried on 2 phones and 2 charging docks. Both attempts resulted in a battery replacement message being displayed on the phone marked with these batteries. They have been returned.

Don't Worry: Batteries

You might think that Panasonic rechargeable batteries are perfect for a Panasonic phone, but you'd be wrong. Of the 20 batteries I received, 8 failed with the error message "Use a rechargeable battery" (see photo). A 40% failure rate is totally unacceptable, so don't buy them unless you're buying a lot of parts. Or you can do what I intend to do in the future; Buy a reliable battery.

I suspect these are fake - they don't work properly

These batteries initially work in my Panasonic DECT phones but after a few hours the phone says 'use batteries'. Even when the batteries are fully charged, the phone can be used for less than an hour of talk time. This behavior is typical for several Panasonic DECT phones. I will try Eneloops. - EDIT: I tried Eneloops and they worked in phones that didn't work with those batteries.

  • Delivery was very quick

Should have read the reviews first

The only time I haven't read the reviews I really should have. I have a set of Panasonic cordless phones and as they were Panasonic branded batteries I figured they would work fine. no need to read reviews. It wasn't until they didn't work that I decided to look at the reviews. Many reviewers had the same issue as me with the phone showing the error message "Using rechargeable batteries". I hope I learned my lesson.

They're pretty pricey along with disappointments.

Purpose: I ordered 10 packs and when they arrived I received 8 batteries. Now I have to go to the store to return them. Please note that I buy in line as I don't have time to go to the store. I asked for a replacement and it arrived as promised. I put batteries in my Panasonic phones. However, every time I try to use my phone, I read the message "Use rechargeable batteries". These batteries are not just for a Panasonic phone! piss off! My next problem, they might be buggy, otherwise I don'tโ€ฆ

Very bad Panasonic product - cannot return today so rubbish

This is a terrible battery. They will not fully charge with a new suitable charger; lasts no more than a couple of months with a portable phone and also with a portable label printer. Bought in June 2019 and today I throw everything in the bin as it takes too much time and effort. I ordered through Prime and cannot return. Boo ship, Revane. You are not allowed to sell them. Panasonic makes a poor quality product. Note: The brand I've switched to with great success is TeNergy Centura AAA, a lowโ€ฆ

Batteries that solved my phone problem

Years ago I bought a Panasonic 5 line phone system. Last year I had several problems with phones. Rather than buying a new system, I looked at the batteries currently used in my system. I thought I was going to lose, I had never changed batteries and the cost was minimal. So I bought a Panasonic HHR-75AAA/B-10 Ni-MH cordless phone battery 700 mAh (10-pack). Perfect as it was enough for me to put 2 batteries in each unit. All problems with the phone are gone. The phones work the same as whenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Phone accessories
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other options

WRONG PANASONIC BATTERY! DO NOT BUY!

These batteries are advertised as rechargeable Panasonic AAA Ni-MH batteries for replacement in Panasonic cordless phones. When I first put these batteries in my phones, they seem to charge, but after a few hours, the message "Use rechargeable batteries" pops up on the phone screen. I've been trying to use these batteries for the past 6 months but have found that they last 10-15 minutes at best. Original Panasonic batteries held a charge for at least 60-90 minutes. I have since replaced theseโ€ฆ
