📞 Panasonic KX-TG5421S Cordless Phone: Advanced 5.8 GHz DSS Technology with Caller ID Review

This was just one of the very few phones that still had a headphone jack so I ordered it. Received a used phone (I paid for a new one), the battery only had a 10% charge and got very hot (seemed unsafe) after an overnight charge. It may have been a "one off" but I won't do it. Even try to get a replacement that wasn't this or a similar model.

I've had this phone for almost two years now and I disagree with most of the reviews here. It's a decent phone and still reliable, but I have to wholeheartedly agree with Walt "planetwalt" Johnson, particularly on these two points: the voice enhancer is useless and the caller ID information isn't always displayed. I really wanted to like this phone because of all the good reviews but I got one with problems, returned it and got another one with the same problems; So it must be the phone model.
