Lens Caution: Mirrorless cameras

The camera is a brick but I really liked it until I tested the included zoom lens, very soft edges, especially close-up. I've never seen this in reviews so it was probably just a bad apple.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Specific GH5s update

The S1 is definitely a GH5s update. The GH5 might have more shooting capabilities, but full screen, excellent quality, better low-light capabilities, and full VLog make it worth it. I upgraded and have no regrets. I believe Panasonic will release more shooting features later. Great camera!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Some issues

The best mirrorless camera I've ever bought!

I'm incredibly impressed with this mirrorless camera, my first professional camera and I'm so glad I chose it! It's quite difficult, but I really like it! The settings are clear, the lens is easy to use and the product itself is amazing to use. Best camera I've spent so far and can't wait to use it again!

Pros
  • Just like everyone else at the moment
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Best mirrorless camera yet

I am currently shooting a Nikon d850 but also have a Sony A7Riii. While Sony has great specs and some cool features, its user interface, software, and controls are terrible. So I couldn't convince myself to give up my trusty Nikon, even though I know that mirrorless cameras are the future. A few weeks ago I received a Lumix S1. In short, I love it. It feels great and works well. The user interface and software makes a lot of sense. The autofocus is quite fast and very accurate. AF-C in video…

Worth every penny

This is a spectacular camera. From ultra-clear High ISO video files to outstanding JPG/RAW photos, Panasonic has combined its best efforts in an affordable package. I'm pretty sure the IBIS system is back from the future - it's just amazing. I'm a Canon 5D IV and Fuji X-H1/X-T3 user, so I have no brand loyalty. Whoever makes the imaging equipment that drives the technology, that's where my money goes. I'd drop my other cameras in favor of the S1, but this thing isn't lightweight/small/portable…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • There are downsides

This camera is AMAZING. There's so much in it!

Panasonic is so RIGHT I don't even know where to start. First of all, I'm an ex-boyfriend of Sony FF. I had A7II, A7RIII, even the original A7 and A7S. I say that because no Sony FF camera has ever been associated with me in any way. I'll admit that my latest Sony A7RIII had some pretty amazing Eye AF, and Sony did a great job on it. While I always shoot in both RAW and JPEG whenever possible, I don't want to fix or edit almost every image I choose to SAVE. This is of course subjective, but…
