This portable CD player is great, great, great. Everyone always plays a Sony, but this player far exceeded my expectations with shockwave and sound clarity. Nothing slips when driving, which is very convenient. The only negative I can say is that the headphones still can't beat the Sony headphones. However, I think that with a pair of highly acclaimed Sony headphones, this player and you have the perfect CD/MP3 player.

I know i-pods are all the rage right now, but for my convenience and just because I enjoy listening to 60's and 70's folk and bluegrass, Shockwave is worth the price. The delivery was quick, which didn't surprise me. Clarity is top notch. I dropped it several times (not on purpose) and found it a difficult object. That's what this device represents to me. Great tool for walking and great office AM radio! Its AM antenna is great and can be configured to pick up weak signals in many offices. It's really rainproof on walks! I have two of these. One was reset from HARD and the CD no longer works. The CDs can be MP3 CDs that you burn yourself.
