The product is actually thinner than I expected. Some eyes need to be closed as they are too open to hold the connection. The length of the cable is very uneven. Some parts are shorter than described and unusable, while others are longer than described. I made a necklace with this one and before I was done I had to redo the links as they had already come apart.

This product has to pass quality control. I was expecting the lugs to have round lugs rather than flat-sided round lugs; also I expected the eye pins to be flat rather than protruding sharp ends; I also expected the grommets to be intact and the pins to be straight. The attached photo shows the poor quality of the pins. Now I have to spend valuable time fixing each of these pens, which I didn't want to do, so I decided to buy them ready made. Not recommended.

I usually use a different and slightly more expensive brand of eyelet pins but I gave them away as part of a workshop I sometimes run for the elderly to make inexpensive holiday decorations (and everyone gets gift sets full of accessories, amulets and beads). They're a bit harsh for people not used to working with pliers, but for the price, I could give everyone home a bunch at the end of the workshop.
