This tiny chain was surprisingly strong and held up very well to my wire cutters. I was able to cut it, but a little difficulty gave me confidence that it would hold up well over time. If you want to attach something like beads to it I would suggest using 26 gauge wire as it will fit (tightly) right into the small holes in the chain. This thin chain is great for tassel necklaces and for hanging some beads on earrings without being too bulky.

Like another reviewer, the 0.6mm armored chain roller I received does NOT lay flat. I'm not exactly sure what's going on with this, but every five or six links the chain "twitches" and no amount of permutation of the problematic link is going to get it to lie as intended. Was hoping to make some beaded bracelets but that's not going to happen. OK. I will not be returning it as I may use it for projects that only require short chains. I like it a lot, unfortunately it turned out smaller than I thought which was a mistake on my part (measurements are given). A while ago I ordered bulky wax cord chains but the extender chains are weak. Decided to do it myself and ordered consumables.
