It's okay, the little handle keeps coming off and getting in the way when I'm using a large roll of paper towels. This makes it difficult to use with one hand as the whole thing falls away in use until the reel is about a third of the way through.

Well, it doesn't fit ANY size paper towel roll with the holder in place. In my work we use very wide casters and I had to remove the bracket to install it. However, it still looks great and prevents paper from getting wet on the sink countertop. I just wanted someone to know beforehand.

Discreet and well made paper towel holder. I'm only giving 4 stars because the stem on the side doesn't work properly. Despite having a spring in the base, it's too stiff and stays still and doesn't touch the towel roll. This is the main feature I was looking for in this article, but not the bones.

Terrible. The hand does not hold the roll, so it can be torn off with one hand. I tried bending the spring to bend it to hold it but that didn't work. Pulling the lever all the way down positions it to flex *away* from the reel. Works well if you just want a standard paper towel holder (remove the lever and it looks like a regular holder), but if you want one with a one-handed tear-off feature, stay away.

I was looking for a paper towel holder with an adjustable stem. When the roll is full, the tension on the lever is so great that the paper towel roll curled and it was difficult to pull a piece of paper towel from the roll. Our screw on the spring point would not be fully tightened or the lever would be pointing in the wrong direction. The arm also doesn't bend or flex like I was hoping to put in a new reel. Ours is also a little wrinkled. For $18 I'll be back today looking for another option.
