Surprisingly amazing for the price.

My installation tip: Sit in a room where nobody is around and wait 5 minutes. You think there is no dust, but give it time to settle. For your patience, you get a screen protector that works just as well as paper, which costs $30 more. To be honest I like them a little more because they offer a little more grip, not too much but enough to make a difference! Also, I fell in love with this company because they replace the screen protector if YOU install it wrong! I literally installed the first…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

I'm more used to writing with a pen on a hard screen protector and the resistance this product offers offers, it doesn't make it easier for yourself. It's about what you get used to. If you write or sketch a lot on paper and write a little with a pen, that would be fine, but I almost never use paper anymore - it's a lot easier to import a .pdf into Notability, sign it there, and email it Email as .pdf. . (By the way, if you do this, your signature will be difficult to forge - just as difficult…

Tried it for a week, couldn't get used to it.

I bought this with an Apple Pencil to see if I could digitize my notes for work, but I just couldn't get used to writing on the screen. The lid offered extra friction but not quite the feel I was looking for. If you're used to writing on the same piece of paper with a dull pencil, you might be fine with this screen cover and the Apple Pencil, but I'm more of a fine-tipped pen and a writing pad - I like it when the pencil only sinks and glides with a lot of friction. As far as screen protection…

Pain in my A&$ in Tablet Accessories

I have an iPad 10.5 and when I put that paper screen on not only was bubble management almost impossible, but when you get a good app it's already dusty bastard clinging to it the damn thing only to find the camera and buttonholes misaligned and it's already ripping off in the corner. What's even more frustrating is that I bought two, the first one was essentially thrown away because it took so long for a bunch of dust to cling to it. now the second one is already working and there are just a…

The texture is nice but the screen quality is not very good

I like the texture of the paper and it doesn't feel like dragging the pen tip when writing on the screen. However, the opposite is true: now your pen is grinding the tread. Even after a few days of use, you'll notice a lot of pencil marks and the screen quality will degrade (this is especially noticeable when I'm trying to draw for posterity with a white background). You will see a lot of small scratches and refracted light that are pretty hard to ignore. If screen quality is important to you…

A good writing experience with many compromises

For how many reviewers praise PaperLike and how some artists swear by it, I found it rather disappointing. It's really nice to write on - maybe not quite like paper, but definitely more friction than bare glass - but I have too many negatives to really enjoy it. - This has been mentioned in many other reviews but the installation process is a nightmare. It's too hard and the tread is almost guaranteed to move and pick up tons of dust. The screen quality is noticeably reduced. This is the second
