A good first tablet, but there are problems.

This was my second drawing tablet, but the first one I actually used, I've used it for a good 3 years and have a lot of experience with it. Still, it's not a bad tablet, but it's very imperfect. I think the best way to put it is with a list of pros and cons. Pros: - Fairly cheap and lasts a few years with good care. decent screen and works great when connected to another monitor. The color quality of the screen isn't that great, so I'd recommend using it mirrored on another monitor rather than…

Not a bad tablet, but not great either. This works in GIMP but without print settings.

*EDIT* So it's been a few years. I liked this tablet when I first got it. As with anything, there was a bit of a learning curve, but I figured it out and made it in no time. As previously mentioned, I have never had pressure sensitivity. I just learned to work without her. But the real problem with this tablet is the drivers. I love my Parblo tablet!

Art is just a hobby for me, so I couldn't afford an expensive Wacom. The fact that a Wacom of this size is twice the size made me look for cheaper alternatives. I wanted quality, but I was willing to accept the fact that anything I could get for half the price of a Wacom would probably be half as good.
