I bought these to wear under a removable cast (boot) that I have to wear for another month. I was looking for something that would keep my skin from rubbing on the inside of the boot, and grossly, to keep the skin that is flaking off from getting everywhere. These certainly work for getting the skin to be contained in the sock. The sock, however, is pretty uncomfortable.
