First razor and blade safety razor

I have always used double or triple blade razors, this is the first time I have bought and used a safety razor. I am very impressed with the way he shaves, I will never go back to plastic razors!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Excellent shave Great style

After a satisfying experience, I became a fan of Parker Razor. 74R is no exception. The razor is well balanced, not as relatively "heavy on the head" such as the Variant. The TTO mechanism works perfectly. Aggressiveness is slightly above average. Finally, I buy the satin finish and it's beautiful. There is something graceful and architectural about the design. The photo doesn't really convey it. Definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Garden tools

Hard Medium Aggressive Razor

This is my third Parker razor and the second that I have used myself. I used one of the three to teach my friend how to use a safety razor on her legs and armpits. I've used a variety of razors in the past, ranging from very soft to fairly aggressive. This Parker razor was of medium aggressiveness. I see this razor trimming up to four days of growth from a light to a normal beard. Pros: TTO Butterfly with medium aggression. Safer and quicker blade changes High weight for a better shave. Long…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Too dull

Shredded my face for Razors & Blades

Have tried several Parker safety razors over the years with mixed results (poor to useless). It was the worst. Like other Parkers I've tried it seemed very well made so there weren't any build quality issues which leaves the design. I have used the same Feather blade that I have used 2-3 times before on one of my Merkur handles. I didn't feel it then, but eventually drops of blood ran down my neck. The next day my face was still burning so I waited 2 days before I shaved again. In the meantime…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Pretty good for men

I think it's good for the price. It is well built and offers a close shave. The butterfly opening mechanism is fun. But for some reason it seems to me that it runs less smoothly than the Rockwell 6C I used before (but broke). Maybe it's the weight or the balance I'm not used to yet.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Sweet shaver! - Men's

Love the length of the handle. Parker blades shave gently without being too sharp. If you want to shave OG like a grandpa, you should. Remember, take your time and use short, light strokes!

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Parker has good build quality.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and performance of this shaver. The twist-to-open mechanism stays tight throughout the shave. I own several razors and this one deserves a place in the rotation. The graphite color is also very nice.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Zero
