It works great and includes everything you need good instructions with pictures. But it's quite expensive for a single cable with a pin, you can just move the mute cable for free.

  • No need to disconnect the mute cable on your Pioneer RCA harness therefore no loss of function or possible damage

Simplified bypass mode good for GPS, viewfinder and accessories

I purchased this item along with a replacement interface cable for my AVIC-X930BT. I am happy with my purchase of this item after driving around town in search of this very accurate wire. The included tool also came in handy as the replacement interface cable is different (same as the original but without the cable bracket as stated in the installation guide).

Works GREAT with my Pioneer X940BT Navigation Box!

My Pioneer X940BT Navigation Box worked GREAT! Of course you can simply remove the mute wire. But in order not to damage the usually expensive OEM chassis, it was worth it. The instructions were very clear and included a picture of which slot to put the wire in the bundle. After installation, you cannot tell that anything has changed. Super fast delivery 1/2 way across the country. I have full access to all the features and I love it. Thanks very much!

Fantastic customer service

I'm about to install this along with the complete installation AVIC-Z150. Today Saturday I emailed MicroBypass to check my wiring and indeed I messed everything up. (It's probably about age/ADD.) Moments later (literally, not figuratively) I got a reply from Matt @MicroBypass. To get this kind of customer support for such a small product is amazing. I am very impressed.
