This is the second fake Chinese carburetor I have bought for my TTR-225. This worked great! It started right out of the box and ran on an idle propeller and idle mixture for 5 minutes. This is what you want for your Yamaha TTR-225.

My wife's relative has been promising/threatening to give me this bike for repair for 7 years. I come home last week and he and his son get him from the truck. I put in an old carburetor, it didn't work well, I bought this carburetor and it works great, very well. Customization is not required. oh yes, it's 6 times cheaper than OEM.

This product is easy to install and appears to be a replica of the original carburettor, but I am having serious performance issues almost immediately out of the box. My best guess is that the floats are stuck closed, preventing fuel from flowing from the tank into the carb fast enough. If I leave it for 20 minutes I can get about 3 minutes of run time from it and then it dies. New petrol, new spark plug, new battery, new air filter and this carburettor. Not impressed

Available Most people don't have a decent view. What can I say, it looks exactly like the factory Mukini carb it replaced. It installed and no settings were required. The motorcycle immediately caught fire. It also worked flawlessly in different gas positions. I claim this carb only lasts about 1 hour so time will tell how it holds up. I was able to use the original choke assembly. It was installed on a 2004 TT-R 225.

After damaging the carburetor on my 2004 TT-R225, I frantically searched for a replacement without paying the outrageous price of the original part ($385!).
