Highly recommended in harnesses

Used as a safety precaution on my 1968 Mercury Cougar. I've seen Puma and Mustang suspension upgrades being quite expensive on trade sites. found this and if you're wondering how it works on a classic car, I can wire everything myself and my headlights work great with the new LEDs.

No complaints: Replacement parts

Haven't installed this kit for a long time so don't know how the spark plugs are holding up but so far so good. I installed this on a '73 Ford F100, which was pretty wide, but I didn't even have to lengthen the wiring harness to get to the second headlight. I didn't like the battery connectors so I put in stronger connectors but they would probably be fine. Very easy to install

Wiring harness incorrectly connected to relay - updated

Same problem as another reviewer; The relays get stuck when I turn on the high beams and I have to turn the headlights completely off for the relay to reset and the high beams to turn off. This is one of the more expensive relay/harness kits on the market and significantly affects the quality of the relay. UPDATE: Dig a little deeper and the relay harness was wired incorrectly for my 97 Jeep XJ. The bottom of the low beam was in the wrong place. After I moved the floor everything worked. The…

To install on a Jeep Wrangler YJ

1.) You will need to extend the cable to the battery positive terminal (Revane has clearly stated that this item will not fit the Wrangler YJ) 2.) If you do this you will notice that the red wire going to the positive battery post has very heavy insulation and there is a very small amount of copper inside the red wire to carry current. This is the reason for deducting a star. With all of this, the suspension works well and has solved the problem of turning off bright lights after 10 minutes.

  • Good product for the price

Good headlight wiring harness to replace aging factory wiring harnesses

Wiring harness fits my '96 Jeep XJ perfectly. Installation took about 45 minutes total, but that was due to one of the terminals becoming detached from the cable and I had to install a new terminal. While installing the new terminal, I noticed that the actual wire gauge was smaller than I had hoped. It was more insulation than wire. However, with the aging factory wiring on my Jeep, this wiring harness helped keep the tension in my headlights constant. This increases the brightness of the…

Excellent upgrade for 2000 Jeep Wrangler

Very easy installation. On my 2000 Jeep TJ it probably took the full 15 minutes. Everything was just long enough to reach! IMMV! Good ceramic plugs fit well and should be able to handle the extra heat should I decide to upgrade the bulbs in the future. For you guys at Wrangler who don't know yet; On many Jeeps, FULL headlight current flows through the wiring harness AND the switch itself. This results in a loss of power that eventually reaches the bulbs and heat! This simple kit powers the…

Finally full power for the headlights!

The photos in the product description are the only "instructions". Nothing else is included in the package. TIP: On the Jeep TJ, the black connector on the new wiring harness goes into the socket that originally connected to the actual passenger side headlight bulb. I've been looking for a different connector on the factory wiring harness for a few minutes. Everything else was pretty obvious. Note to Partsam: Please make the red wire a bit longer so we have more options for relay placement and…

Spend a few bucks more and get a better one

First, there are no instructions. When installing, the wire connecting the fuse to the car battery popped out with very little pressure, so I had to buy a separate built-in fuse and solder the wires, doubling the installation time. You also need to buy two nuts and bolts to fix the relay to your car which are not included. I used M6x1.0 screws and they fit perfectly. it does the job, but it's cheaply made, the crimping is poor, and all the wiring is cheap. The wires to the headlights are only…
