I mounted them on a 1982 Case 580D excavator. These are good light sources and would probably work well for another application. However, in the old case, the LEDs did not cause the turn signal to work on the tractor. I had to resort to the old incandescent bulbs that were on the case. The good news was that their lenses fit 40 year old housings, making the old lights look new again.

I have to agree with the first reviewer these are not brake lights, first both sides are yellow. Yes they have 3 wires but the front and back are separate circuits with the same brightness, you can light the front or back separately or both together. There is also no way to use it as a marker and blinker. and since there is no red post, use it as a stop signal at all. They have utility, but not as a marker signal and/or stop

DO NOT ORDER - they will not work as a tail light and turn signals. They are wired so that 12 LEDs light up on one side when power is applied to the red wire and 12 LEDs light up on the other side when power is applied to the white wire. (Black wire is grounded). Obviously you want tail and signal lights to point in the same direction. I've never seen such a configuration, but it DOES NOT WORK for the taillight/brake/signal combo.

Seems very well made but before I wire them up I need to know which wire is grounded? Red hot, white or black soil? The? Zero instructions in the box or on the website.
