I am a neat carpenter and have had many Paslode nailers. I like Paslod. They're durable and reliable, but not this new model. I had it for 2 months and it didn't go through a single cut before it broke. I will never buy this model again. It will be returned.
I've used almost every brand of nail gun. I averaged 8,000 nails a day with this particular model. I had no problems with jamming or a gun not sinking. It was a much more advanced nail gun compared to other brands. I will only buy Pasalode Finish nail guns.
Paslode pistols are the best in the range. So these finish nailers are 3 months old. If you buy them from Home Depot make sure you have an extended warranty and they will replace them. Not sure what the Revain policy is? We have a brigade of 8 people and we quickly used up 4 of these guns. Not recommended for the everyday carpenter. Also, the slide lock for loading nails is poorly designed. Do you have to knock him out with a hammer to free him? The? Yes. Buy a hard or a Makita.
