🚘 Aftermarket Replacement Fog Lights for 2004-2006 Silverado Avalanche Pickup Truck (15791433 15791434) - Driver and Passenger Set Review

Got these fog lights for my brother in law for Christmas. Fits right on his 2005 Silverado. Even came with lightbulbs. I put silicone around the lens and body to keep moisture out. Great product for the price.

I bought these to replace one of the fog lights that were brown on my 2005 1500 Silverado. These fit perfectly. It should be noted that the dealer and body shop would charge $150 to replace just one fog light. Both were much cheaper to replace.

Front passenger side fog lights screwed on perfectly. On the driver's side I had to cut an outside hole on the bracket to bring the entire bumper together. After installation they look fine, the only problem is that the holes in the bracket are not covered. I pre-installed the headlights and immediately saw the problem.

Got them today and installed them in less than 10 minutes. They fit perfectly on my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. I still had stock. It was so easy to undo two 10mm bolts on the top hangers on each side and get those bad boys in place. They feel as sturdy as the OEM and appear to seal perfectly. If they don't work after this winter and foggy season I will update this review.

This product would have received 5 stars but the housing the lights came in was not the right size for my Silverado Crew Cab 06. I ended up removing the new fog lights from their housing and using my original -Fog light housing. I kinda didn't mind but they have to be custom made and I didn't have to do any extra work but I don't because they look so much better than my old stock oxidized fog lights.

First of all, these lights are durable. They don't bounce, wobble or wobble as you drive over rough gravel roads. They are durable. I bought these to add fog lights to an 04 Silverado LS 2500 Classic. I had to cut holes in the skin, add a wire harness, relay and factory switch to set everything on fire. This fog light kit came with bulbs but did not include any associated hardware. No equipment is advertised. Expect none.

These fog lights do not have an internal reflector located in front of the bulb like standard fog lights. Also the aiming mechanism is very cheap, the clip on mine broke when I tried to adjust the rear sight screw and because the plastic tolerances were so wrong I couldn't keep the adjustment clip in place (the slot was too big enough for the clamp). Eventually the mounting screw holes were too small and had to be drilled out. Wouldn't buy this again.
