Chevrolet Corvette 2000-2004 Headlight Motor Replacement - Front Right Passenger Side Review

My 2002 C5 Corvette coupe had a common problem: Headlight gear motor was dragging when the headlights were off. Although I considered using a gear replacement kit I'm glad I bought the complete headlight gear motor assembly. Installation was relatively easy thanks to the instructions on the Revain product website and YouTube self-help videos, and the product worked well (no gear flashovers after 30 days).

The retractable headlight on our Corvette stopped working, needed a new motor. My husband looked at other stores, the motor was $140 and was out of stock. He installed it himself for the first time, following YouTube's instructions 😁 . There were many learning opportunities. Item received within two days! It didn't take long and it worked great! I just purchased these driver and passenger motors for my 2004 Corvette Convertible. No installation problems and what I like best about these motors is that they have 3 screws that can be unscrewed to access the plastic gear inside the motor in case I want to upgrade to bronze gears later. The factory engines were filled with epoxy and access to the internal gears was difficult. Now my headlights are much faster and I am very happy with the price of these motors.
